Mission Statement

Bridge Support Services provides support and services to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.

When people share a sense of Mission, Values, Vision and Guiding Principles they can stay on task and help manage their daily activities. At Bridge Support Services, we strive to put the individuals we serve first.

Our mission statement is testament to that. Our vision is to attract and hire great staff, while creating a culture of respect and accountability, allowing us to become the employer of choice in the area. We feel that if we have the best staff and create an atmosphere where they can excel, we will provide
great service. Our values and guiding principles are our core beliefs that guide our daily activities.

The Objective of Bridge Support Programs:
- Focus on the capability of everyone to learn, grow and develop to his/her fullest potential, regardless of disability.
- Promote self-sufficiency and independence through movement from more to less structured learning
situations, predicated by each consumer’s individual development and skills.
- Maximize opportunities for individuals to exercise individual choice; experience self-growth; develop the capacity for meeting normal challenges of daily living; and practice self-advocacy.
- Provide a comprehensive array of services to the individual based on their needs and goals as
identified in their Person Center Plan.
- Utilize community services and facilities to promote natural relationships and awareness in the
community.
